Western Red Cedar - Outdoor Cladding

Outdoor Cladding - Western Red Cedar

Cladding in Cedar

Wood is a natural material which can be used in many ways as cladding. Because of its natural character and large variety in types and chapes of wood, it has become very successful in achieving sustainable and attractive architecture, as well as for new construction and renovation, as there are limitless possibilities to use wood as cladding.

Hoebeek is specialized in Western Red Cedar cladding. About 10 profiles are available from stock in both long and shorter lengths. And of course all foreseen with PEFC label.

Advantages Disadvantages
  • Natural product
  • Heat insulation
  • Acoustic comfort
  • Durable
  • Colour of wood can change (solution : Silver & Ocean grey)

SILVER & OCEAN GREY

Outdoor exposure can influence the colour of non-treated wood. However, this has no effect on the stability and durability of the wood. To obtain a nice, equal grey colour of Cedar, Hoebeek has two solutions: SILVER and OCEAN GREY.

Using wood as cladding requires a perfect installation.

For finishing corners and windows, Hoebeek can also offer a range of profiles.  See instruction for installation.
